that really is looking insane. I picture the stiff joints being the result of some incendiary weapon that just leaves you as cooked bones and meat. that you can later explode

is there a way to switch sides on the ladder without having to go all the way down? I always liked how in games you can do that on the fly.
on the video you can grab the ladder from both sides, but also there will be ladders that can be climbed only from one side. doing a flip on a ladder would look really strange in 2d, i also see no point to that cuz you can climb up from any side and bullets go through ladders. but it can be done.

oh and a quiestion, how do you make the soldiers like intruder returns? they look so realistic
u need to add a lot of little details and pseudo shading with gradients.
yeah, but how do you draw it? you may use any image to draw?
i draw concepts on paper, then recreate it in flash with mosue and line tool, you can also trace over what u've drawn
